have u even seen all her works….? idk if you’re saying if her acting is bad (like everyone else) but she definitely isn’t. there are any actors who do specific types or roles or need to have “chemistry” with their fellow actor ya’ know & it’s not very good but at some point actors do improve.
1) for example kim sohyun usually has similar characters and has done a work themed drama (radio romance), but now she has. that’s an example of an actor who usually sticks to a type of character.
2) bae suzy is an actor who doesn’t do well with actors she doesn’t have chemistry with. for example her and lee jongsuk weren’t the best for eachother. although she and kim woobin obviously did well together.
number 2 goes for shin sekyung too, she didn’t do well with nam joohyuk, neither did he ’cause he also is VERY not compatible with many actors.
she’s certainly talented and she’s definitely striving! kim sohyun took a big jump too, which i’m very proud of. many famous actors are really not the best of the best but still heavily loved but their negative traits are ignored sometimes. i believe most actors try so very much on there work and it’s certainly amazing. i love shin sekyung’s acting but at first i was very weary on her acting but like i was in like freaking elementary when i first started and i didn’t understand kdrama world lol.

Where in this post did I said She was acting bad ? I personally don’t really care about the young female leads because sadly they often have less personality . The older generation has a strong presence . I critisised her character not her as an actress but it is odd that I couldn’t finish god of the water . you have to understand that ppl are emotional so they feel when something is off , some more some less and something about her is off . you could ignore it if it was just one person but when more ppl feel the same then there is at least partly truth in it. beside most ppl also blamed the extened
The one to blame for the failure of this drama is the writer-nim, not the actor/actress. Seems that some haters like to put the fault on the leading actress (I dunno her name. In fact, I dunno most of Kdrama actors/actresses’ names. I just enjoy watching the dramas and don’t wanna burden my mind to remember their hard-to- remember names). Don’t you know that many of Korean actors or actresses committed suicide bcos of the haters’ bad words/critics?? 😂😂😂😂. If she, let say, took your bad comments personally and commited suicide, you were one of the people who was responsible for that… If you were offered to act in drama, she might be a lot better than you. Who knows? 😂
Well writers also get their carrier destroyed when a drama flops so they are even more worried than actors. It is sad that it left a bittersweet taste because I did love the first episodes , it was s refreshing to see them in a different country . The story idea was interesting .nobody likes being criticized but there will always be ppl who don’t like you or what you do. All we can do is keep improving ourselfes . This was not the best Drama I have ever seen although I did loved the idea of the story but it wasn’t developed right

Suicidal people have mental health issues – problems with depression or self-esteem that may cause them to react extremely when they are confronted with failure but NOBODY is ever looking for a reason to die. More than anything, those vulnerable people are looking for a reason to live – some small ounce of love, positivity, or kindness that shows that someone values them or that life will get better.
I get that it’s hard for most healthy people to understand why anyone would take such extreme actions. That doesn’t make it okay to trivialize their pain. This attitude right here is why so many people with mental health problems don’t ever seek help. They need our support and compassion. Not our judgement.
For real, there are sensitive kids here that may read your comment and take it to heart in a way that I’m sure you never intended. Can we all maybe take a second and think before we post such extreme stuff?
I have to correct you at least not all seeking for a reason to live. I can tell you this is bulls**** because even with threapy the main pain won’t go away. you can devour pills to numb your brain but the world doesn’t get less evil or painful . Unless the whole circumstances for the pain disappear the pain remains . The act of killing is only the hardest thing but when you are death you are death and the whole pain is gone. And believe me its like with drug addicts unless their situation which cause the addiction disappears they will relaps . If you are depressed you may have a different form of depression but that is at least the other view of depressed people . When you are death you are finally free of all the struggle and pain . Sorry but life is not always worth fighting for . it doesn’t always get better only because ppl fake understand your pain and tell you get over it and there is so much worth fighting for and everything will be better . its just not the truth .

I didn’t get attached to the characters, we saw not enough aspects of their personality… I hated Sharon’s behavior , but we saw much more about her than the others, she was very pityful I really feel sorry for her to the point that I’m actually happy that he received a punishment as well.

The least they could have done, was to show them meeting again and actually being happy this time round. After Sharon worked her juju on him to make him see her as Hae-Ra, it’s like their love died. They were just going through the motions. I needed to see the happiness Beak-Hee prayed for. Also wanted Sharon to live on: realise her mistakes; repent and find her own pocketful of sunshine. It was nice whilst it lasted, thank you to the makers!!!
Personally I thought it was a great story. Sadly, they decided to extend it and made it a “Sharon show”. Had I read this story in a book, I would have fallen in love with it, but they missed the opportunity to keep it simple and sweet. Still glad I finished it, They left it open for a no 2, just hoping it delivers better than this did. :(

I dropped this drama ages ago because I hate the character trope of a jealous clingy ex, add in a jealous, clingy ex with 100s of years of cling and a confusing set of super powers and I’ll run far away (and I hate running). But I’m curious as to how it ended, can someone tell me?
the only thing that i like from the drama is the title… it looks cool ahaha
it is preference, but i just like fantasy that is blend with romance comedy, other fiction/supernatural genre drama is not enjoyable
This was the worst ending ever,,, the whole drama is ruined with this weak ending,,, so they lived for hundreds of yeas as a punishment & now she’ll dies & he’ll live till forever just because of her prayer, is he getting punished for being a good man!!! what a weak & stupid ending!
I DON’T AGREE THAT HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN PUNISHED. The only thing I really disagree about is that Sharon actually made him live a lonely existence waiting for her to appear again. It could have been much better written at the end but I’m not disappointed too much. These Korean dramas don’t hand out justice equal to the evil malicious behavior of the bad people. They always seem that the vicious people live lavish lives and get some small form of punishment in the end, Whereas the good live hellish lives and just come to accept it in the end. They need to change that.
..i watch this final episode 3times today..and even if i watch it many times im not satisfied at all withe that ending..but it makes me feel sad when haera died ….the writer of this story did not meet the viewers satisfaction ..though the actors realy did well.. they did great on their character role…they should make another season of this drama..the writer should give soo ho the reincarnated haera after 25years..im realy a bit upset about the ending…cant get over yet

So SSK has less inhibitions compared to her performance in Water God, she still has to overcome her self-conciousness. I think that i will no longer trust her choice of films. I always feel disappointed towards the end.

What a hot mess! I had so many expectations from this drama after the first episode, they shat on them all.
