      Is my pretty Pri, home?

Pri, I just *quietly* dropped by to ask if there’s a safe e-mail address which you can share with me for it is where I intend to send the images of cherry blossoms as soon as I find the time while writing you a short note.

If you’re amenable with it, please post your e-mail address here. But put your profile in PRIVATE first for safety reasons, then I will share with you mine as well, just to be sure.

      • Pri Jain says:

Okay dear let me first change the settings but as soon as I will change my settings is it possible that you can read my comment?

        • Macarons & Sakura Tea says:

          Yes, it is possible.
I’ve been on private for a little while now.

          • Pri Jain says:

Is it safe? Because if you can read my comment then anyone can read it too even if I go private.

          • Macarons & Sakura Tea says:

            Which is why I chose this deserted page . . . . .

          • Pri Jain says:

Actually I am a bit skeptical…what to do?

          • Macarons & Sakura Tea says:

Never mind, this place has been compromised now, besides. I won’t be logging in to Disqus for a little while which is why I asked for a different venue where I can send them. So, perhaps some other time.
            Take care, dear!

          • Pri Jain says:

Thank you so much for understanding my predicament…I hope you didn’t mind it. You know with your email a lot of things are connected and I really didn’t want to take a chance. So sorry for being like this…can’t help it tho.
Aww…so I was right you were going to take a break. I am gonna miss our letters the most. Yes some other time dear.
Remember my heart will always read your heartbeats so you only have to think of me.
            Love you
            Take care chingu
Will be waiting for you. ..

          • Macarons & Sakura Tea says:

There’s nothing to be sorry about. It’s precisely why I asked in the first place if you have a safe e-mail or an e-mail which you can freely share. Even if you have one but some circumstance precludes you from sharing it, still I wouldn’t hold it against you. How could I? You are my magical faerie, my dancing princess (sorry, my dancing queen is already owned by another darling), my sweet poetess who always reminds me of my childhood and one of my old favourite lyric poets named Sara Teasdale, and simply – you are my pretty Pri. You always say that you run out of words to say to me without realising that flowers, stars, rainbows, and everything that’s nice come out of you naturally. Know that I keep your enchanting, magical words close to heart and I will cherish them until forever. I saw what you wrote, btw, on the Love Thread and it made me smile. I’ll just upvote when time (as well as my hand) permits it. I’m just taking this opportunity to comment a little while able since I’m currently on a two hour travel back home. I hope you’ve been well. Do you keep a journal? If you’re bored, make it a habit to write in it about anything even if it’s just a thing or two. Anyway, stay hopeful, happy, and pretty, Pri. Have a nice day. Take care always. Nado saranghae.

          • Pri Jain says:

            Ahh…Sweet spring tea
You will live for long (like the saying goes here when you think of someone and if that someone appears that person lives for 100 years). And in my heart you’ll live for forever and after.
I was thinking of you this morning only and like a fairy God mother your message appeared somewhere out of the white and blue sky of Disqus…hehe.
Can I fall for you all over once again…your magical words make me smile and blush😍😊.
I love it as it is…dancing princess πŸ˜‹. Wow…it feels great that I could make you remember your childhood and your favourite poet Sara Teasdale. I don’t want to sound modest but I really don’t believe that I am of such capability.
Yes I would still say, that your muslin words always leave my heart flustered and speechless.
Thank you for liking my random rambling…wish I could write even more. Love is universe and by writing jst a few lines isn’t doing justice to it. Those lines look like a child’s poem. But yet that’s also love…love is child’s poem.
You saying that you like it, is enough for my childlike heart to dance in excitement.
I hope your hand gets better soon so that my chingu never gets upset over it again. Also i hope your ride back home was safe and comfortable.
Yes I have been hale and healthy. Wish the same for you.
I don’t keep a journal but I do try to write every thing that comes to my mind or something I read in my mobile or a diary. I can’t take a chance with my forgetful brain.
Thank you so much for many enchanting wishes you always send my way.
” l wish your life be always filled with sun shiny summers, winter warmth, blooming spring, breezy autumn and musical monsoon”.
And Christmas presents just never stop coming…
            You too take care
            Much love

          • Macarons & Sakura Tea says:

Wow. What a lovely saying. Thank you for your longevity well-wish. And there is a saying here in that if your ears are short, you won’t live long and it so happens that my ears are short. lol I don’t ascribe to superstition, I was just sharing it with you. Although to be honest, Pri, I feel that I would leave this earth in my 50s (just reached mid-30s on my birthday). In fact, I already purchased my urn (you guessed it correctly, its design is the sakura). I’m just praying that my baby is already mature enough when that happens. Anyway, I hope I didn’t sullen your mood. Of course, your prayers and wishes are more powerful and I’m delighted and honoured to receive your blessings. Thank you so much, my darling. And I also wish and pray the same for you.

Pri, you’re hurting me when you say that. But above all, you’re hurting yourself. If you really don’t believe in yourself, then you really can’t, and you really won’t. I’m telling you that you can and that you’re very capable. Don’t quit unless you have tried first. Read some of the many wonderful poems by Sara Teasdale and you’ll understand why you remind me of her. Your words are like a children’s poem and I consider children’s poetry/lit. as one of the greatest treasures on earth — they were what inspired me to dream, to imagine, to read more, and to explore.

This is the book which introduced to me Sara Teasdale. Growing up, I didn’t have much toys. My toys and (spooky-looking) dolls were always hand-me-downs from my elder cousins. There was one dial-up doll that rotated on its own and it gave me nightmares every evening. Kidding aside, to compensate, I just immersed myself in reading my elder siblings’ old books and this one of them. I found the world of books and words much more fun. So, never underestimate your gift of being able to enkindle and inspire wonder in a child’s heart.

Thank you as always for your magical, beautiful words. They reminded me of the main OST to Love Story in Harvard: ”Spring, summer, fall, and winter dreams…”

Thank you so much once again. I’m late for work. Have a nice day. And take care always.

          • Pri Jain says:

            Good morning 🌹
First of all i’m extremely sorry…never meant to hurt you😌
This would never happen again…pinky promise.
            Life…
I am slightly superstitious but then I bend them according to my own requirements…πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
So short ears must look cute on you…can I ask you my dear chingu that where in the world you call it your home?
I just hope whatever time you spend on this earth your eyes must always sparkle, your heart must always beat rhythmically, your soul must feel peace and comfort, your legs musn’t stop dancing, your hands must always let you fly and your face must have a constant giggle.
Why would you think of leaving already when you can still enjoy and make millions of memories with your baby while you are still here. Every one has to leave one day but that shouldn’t stop us from enjoying the morning sunshine and sakura tea aroma.Didn’t you read Jo sunbaenim’s comment on love thread , read it perhaps then you will know what I am trying to say.
I have already asked for your forgiveness so I am not going over it again. Straight away to Madam Sara Teasdale. Thank you for introducing me to your childhood teddy bear. I feel so blessed and happy that you shared such a beautiful memory of yours with me.
I will most certainly try finding the book online and get it to read. Thank you always for your motivational words. They don’t say books are men’s best friend for nothing. I believe if you have no friends it won’t matter but if you won’t have books you don’t have anything. Your words always inspire me to dream of big and new dreams.
Love story in harvard that I have never listened to before but it is making me excited to see that I share similar views with someone.
Thanks for my darling wookie’s pic…his blooming face brings peace to my heart.
Some thing to share which I know you must have read before many times but life shall always win… https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/2e385354bcd9cb2c2a23316105ab5760446312b996b6b58c248f318e22db055b.jpg
            As always saranghae…

          • Macarons & Sakura Tea says:

My Pretty Pri, good evening. I hope you and your dear family had dinner already. I feel that you’re quite adept in the kitchen. Am I correct? If so, I’m the opposite. lol Btw, I hope you’re in for some long stories. I’m just trying to make it up to you while I can since I soon have to disappear again.

Yes, thank you. They’re cute indeed. Which is why I try to compensate by sometimes wearing big or dangling earrings. ;)

Remember this – from now on, you will always be on my mind. Why? Because amongst other pretty things which make me think of you, I will also be reminded of you whenever I see my granny neighbour. Her name is Lola (lola means granny) Paz. Funny that you said your second name is Peace because Paz means peace in Spanish. And she also happens to be a bit superstitious. After coming home from work, one of my favourite ways to relax is watering the garden as well as doing some sweeping due to the fallen leaves and blossoms. Although I don’t really get to do this anymore of late because I’d rather take a short nap or go for a relaxing massage after work these days due to exhaustion. Moving on, I usually watered and swept around 7 pm and incidentally, it’s also the time when said granny goes out to catch some evening breeze. There’s a superstition here to this effect: you shouldn’t sweep your surrounds come dark because in so doing you’ll also be sweeping away good luck. I was always accosted every time she saw me sweeping in the evenings (despite the lighted surroundings), while I always responded (jokingly yet respectfully) that I don’t believe in superstitions and the reason for said superstition is due to the fact that there was scarce or no electricity at all back in the day, hence one couldn’t clearly see if coins or precious gems are also being swept away. Still, she will insist while going on re-telling other superstitions and stories about her beautiful Spanish mother.

Yes, I’ve read all the posts and they’re all lovely, yours included. How do I explain this so as to make your heart tranquil. It’s not that I think of it in the strictest sense of the word. My intuition is kind of sharp, hence I feel more than I think of said circumstance. Don’t worry and/or be sad now; of course, we should always savour the present and hope for the better and that includes enjoying things more with loved ones as well as looking forward to that wonderful possibility of meeting chingus from all over the world. Himnae now. :)

This book (Child’s World) is quite antiquated (it comes in six volumes featuring other areas like science, arts, music, etc.). Our collection is dilapidated now since they originally belonged to my eldest brother who is now in his 50s. The publisher may no longer be publishing it. But you may search for collection of Sara Teasdale’s poems online. Speaking of which, thank you for sharing this poignantly beautiful poem of hers. It’s certainly one of my most favourites.

A chingu (KittyBlossom) had also asked me about my place of residence and I answered her in this manner: my heart calls the Philippines home, but my spirit lives in many places. Although to be technically correct, the US is still my home since yeobo and I share a place there (the one you saw in the photos behind the cherry blossoms). Prior to coming home here in the Philippines, I lived mostly in the US (mainly in Washington DC). I also called England and Japan home briefly. Besides the Philippines, my heart feels at ease in England most esp. in Japan. As to Japan, my affinity with said country started quite early after being gifted as a child a Mickey Mouse stuffed toy from Tokyo Disneyland as well as having listened to a Japanese love song on radio. From then onwards, I strove to learn Japanese. If resources and time allow for it, I always go to Tokyo because I consider it as my second home. But sometimes, I also find my spirit travelling back through the fog of time esp. during ancient Egypt’s Amarna period – I’m just quite fascinated with the story or legend of queen Nefertiti.

Speaking of Japan and something to cheer you up, do you still want some pictures of the sakura? I will share them with you first before sharing them with chingus at the thread. Unfortunately, there are no beottkot for you. My beautiful niece is probably very busy and I don’t want to bug her because she’s also moody (she takes after me). But kidding aside, she juggles studies and part-time jobs in Seoul although I just saw her Instagram today and she was at a party (snort!).

This is the OST I’m talking about from one of my old K-drama favourites: Love Story in Harvard. It stars a young Kim Rae-won and Kim Tae-hee. I remember rushing to the dorm after evening classes in law school just to catch a dubbed episode of it. I liked this drama a lot, I don’t know if you’ll like it. But I hope you will.

As a parting note for this evening, here’s a quote for you from one of my favourite poets, Gwendolyn Brooks.

And Kamsahamnida for your beautiful, magical words as always. Have faith in yourself bec. I have faith in you. Saranghae too!

Pri, I’m hopefully assuming that you were already able to read the post bec. I already edited out most parts. It’s currently pending after editing, but it will probably be unpended later on. Kamsa, dear. You, too! TCA, Saranghae. :))
