I finally watched this with English subs. The story seems to be an old one where a rich family is looking to find a lost child (Jang Bori, Healer, 100 Years of Inheritance and The Promise) who was raised by a poor family. The first episode is engaging enough and the cast delivered well. I am rather happy that Uee declined to join this drama. She needs to bulk up. It is painful to watch a wraith thin actress do her role. In Marriage Contract she was already thin but in Manhole she is a concern.
Shin Hye Sun is doing a marvelous job of the overworked and much abused corporate Temp. There are 49 more episodes to provide us with a solid story. So far so good.
Btw, this drama is doing its bit to distance Park Shi Hoo from his dismissed case. His character has noblesse oblige and is characterized as almost gay. The scene with the woman asking him for a ride was very pointed, I thought. I hope, as international viewing audiences, we can focus on the drama per se. There a 50 episodes. Let us keep the playing field in the context of the drama.
