Nah…Ji An’s dad is not selfish. He lived his whole life for his family only to get looked down by them…so of course he was angry and disappointed thus making that kind of decision. If you think about it, his responsibility as a father has ended but as a husband he felt betrayed by his wife. That’s why he wants to go separate ways but he will still support her financially.
He could have stopped JA from going, he didnt, he married that thing, take your medicine……..He decided to start business again and made 10 grand in a week, what the heck has he been doing for 10 years?????? And now he’s sad his family looks down on him??? Boo hoo,”I’m going to take my blocks and go home” that is the very definition of selfish
Woah..some breadwinners really didn’t get to save no matter how much they tried. I don’t really understand that at first but i now i did. He did try to stop her but after seeing how determined his daughter wants to go into her “new” house, he stopped. But he still work hard for his family. Well there’s always different perspectives so I understand where you are coming from..
that may be true but it doesn’t excuse going along with what the wife had done and expect the kids to understand him that is wy i don’t like him he is bringing up how hard he worked in the past but the kids are upset about the switch i mean ji an tried to commit suicide over it and he can’t give her space to heal he just wanted to apologize once and wanted everything to go back to normal after that now that’s being selfish and he is taking it out on ji tae who was justifiably angry coz his two sisters got hurt and yeah he was humiliated coz it happened when his new wife had just arrived in my opinion the dad was selfish in terms of not giving his kids time to be angry and to get over what they had done but the mom understands this she hasn’t said anything or made excuses but is letting them come back to her in their own time which is why you see ji tae and his mom’s relationship is fast recovering but the dad is just full of self pity and excuses which makes him selfish at least that’s the way i see it and i understand why you might not think the same way which is good your point is valid as well
