I don’t know…I just don’t understand why the producers of this show made Sung Hyuk play the dual role of General Dong and his sister. Couldn’t they get someone else to play the sister? Sung Hyuk isn’t very convincing as a woman with his deep voice and his whiskers showing through the make-up. I don’t have a problem with men dressing up as a female character if it is effective for the story, but in this case it isn’t.
That’s the point.. They are 1 person, with 2 souls. At the beginning episode it was already explained. Sam Jang herself also confused with their appeareance..But PK explained to her.

exactly, idk if you remember the red pot thingy that held steam in episode 1 and helped Son oh gong locate the bride doll. Well that was a spirit that was sealed in there. He left it with the general to keep him company . Now they inhabit the same body! its awsome. really hong sisters are outdoing themselves with this fab story. alot of people are too uneducated to see it, but this journey to the west meets alice and wonderland meets twilight meets shakespeare is GOLD i tell ya
Watched JTTW last night since it had been way too long for me to remember the details from the 1st time. It’s a funny movie anyways for a B movie, but was surprised at how much the Hong sisters used in this interpretation. Still no fish demon, but the others are on the mark. lol

She was never met to be sam jang, which after setting son oh gong free she became sam jang. But she should blame ma wang as well i think, she never would have met son oh gong if ma wang hadn’t told her to go into the house to get the fan.
And she never could have gone into the house to free him if she were not already “special” it has nothing to do with being Sam Jang, it is her powers to see and get rid of evil spirits……major plot hole…
She always had the sight of seeing the spirits but after freeing Son oh Gong she became Sam jang and now her fate is tied to that of the end of the world. There’s no plot hole.
Her “fate” is to stop the end of the world, not tied to it, it’s a calling, not a punishment…..jeeeeeeez, stop listening to the demons excuses to each other and follow what’s really going on…….to harsh,? sorry, it’s Sunday and I’m tired…
I believe her fate became tied to the end of the world only by virtue of becoming Sam Jang? Now that she is no longer SJ she has no more responsibility due to the fact she is just a “normal” human? Just another opinion. lol

Because she is not special anymore, she can’t save the world, so it can no longer be her fate or punishment……Major plot hole…..If she is not special, she can not be Sam Jung, if she’s not Sam Jung, no punishment, no punishment she is not special, to infinity……hope I explained sufficiently…..

After watching 25 min of raw on ep 10, think because she gave away the soul to her younger self, she then lost all the abilities of her younger self if that makes any sense? lol
I said the same thing. She was always seeing ghost …However, I said maybe she was always Sam Jang and did not know. There was an episode where she fell and her granny came and saved her and told her she has to be careful not to bleed something like that . I think her punishment has not been revealed yet.

Okay so I’m playing catch up with all the eps I missed and WTH?! Omg this is becoming more and more intense, its becoming more like my taste haha :P This drama is giving Lee Seung Gi one heck of a comeback, I’m a happy fan.
I had no internet connection for like 2 and half weeks and I’m soooo fucking ready for a marathon even though there are only 4 EPs I didn’t watched my god I was so lost without my kdramas I’m such an addict
