I kinda think Moo Bin had a crush on her in high school, but now it just feels like a competition with Dong Man. Just wants what he doesn’t have, like he’s trying to one up the person he is jealous of? Just a thought…
I thought of this during last week’s episodes, and it still bugs me: I think all of the second love choices are a bit in the extreme side… Both Moo Bin and the intern are too expressive, though moo bin is just clueless while the intern knows her tactics. Hye Ran is too confident. Like girl, you already married and chose someone else before, you still think dong man’s gonna fall back to your trap?
Seeing these extremes is fresh for me. Most dramas have second leads which make your heart ache, because you know they can be a good match with the leads. It’s just sometimes, their efforts become cringey.(Looking at you Moo Bin. Way overboard with the car trunk surprise event man! You’re not even officially together yet!) I know his intentions are innocent, but he’s just coming off as a showoff to me especially when he told Ae Ra the things he’s done for her.
Oh well, we’ll see. Maybe the second leads will have some sort of character development and my opinions will change. Sorry for my long rambling. Just had to take it out. Anybody else agree?

Since the competition seconds are so prominent in the story, I guess the writers might do the extreme and couple them up separately for the next half, have each one pursue their dreams and then create some chaos at the end where only the two of them together makes life a win win.
Second couple…Joo Man ah you have good intentions but get your act together or let her go. I actually love the actor but the character is so real that he is starting to piss me off.
Is this a reality show or something?wooah! why does it feels so spontaneous. It swear happens in real life. Woah! How can this be oh-so good??! I love how each of the characters portray the nature of human, our strength and weaknesses. Can’t wait for the next episodes.
But Sul Hee’s mother had my crying. Makes me wanna hug her. Moo Bin is undeniably a nice guy. oh well..
I don’t think Moo Bin is sweet..for me, if you will do something to for someone , you don’t need to enumerate it, let that someone recognize your action.

tbh i don’t like moo bin. he is the typical wealthy kdrama guy who tries to charm the girl by his authority and bold moves and also tries to control her and her friends at a very early stage of the relationship. in most dramas the girl would be attracted to this kind of a guy (and i must admit i sometimes like this kind of guys i dramas as well and can see why they would be attractive, but not often), but not ae ra, coz she is quite independent and knows how to deal with guys. and the fact that moo bin knows that ae ra is not yet comfortable with him but still proceeds to kiss her says a lot about him. to me he seems like a guy who would stab you in the back in case you cross his way, so i’m really waiting for dong man to realise he has feelings for her and to win her over *.*
and also this drama is really good at cliffhangers, damn, i’m so hooked I can’t wait for next week

I liked the series so far, even if I hate the “childhood friends” trope. Let’s be real, if nothing happened for decades, it’s unlikely (even if possible) that it happens suddenly. Moreover, you already know everything about the other, the good and the bad, so there’s no spark, no curiosity, no discover. You completely bypass the falling in love, which is usually one of the best parts of a relationship.
It’s not by chance that both the couples of the drama seem like they have been married for a long time.
Dong-Man and Ae-Ra are basically in a relationship already, except for sex. This is also the reason why Dong-Man has a strong connection with Hye-Ran. Their relationship is the exact opposite. Wonderful sex and loose ties. The problem is that Dong-Man is not the smartest guy in the hood so, instead of consider Hye-Ran only as a sex buddy, he has always ended up expecting more from her.
On the other hand, Seol-Hee and Joo-Man are a married couple who only miss a stamp on some paperwork.
Seol-Hee is sweet, cute, reliable and dedicated, but the hardships of life washed her out, and she doesn’t seem to have any will or power to change her status.
Joo-Man is a salaryman struggling to succeed without having to sell his soul completely. He wants to improve for himself and for Seol-Hee, but he can’t help being somehow charmed by Ye-Jin, who flirts with him in a way he has probably never experienced with Seol-Hee.
I love how he feigns ignorance on the topic. ?
This drama is honestly getting so good?? i’m so hooked up since the beginning these two have such a nice chemistry!!!! but i feel so sad about Moo Bin he’s just a cute little shy hamster and obviously not gonna end up wit Ae Ra :( hope they give him a happy side story and not some twisted hidden story or something <3
