I taught the demonic father is on death roll, why is he still alive? This is what i predict, the father will escape prison to finish off the girl, if the brother couldn’t. Then, he will go after Na moo to try and make him just like him. And that reporter lady, he will try to kill her too because she will be a distraction down the line….
i’m not sure about in south korea, but for quite a few countries, usually, even if someone is given the death sentence it can be put off by many years. i’m guessing that’s the case for him if he doesn’t have life in prison.
this might be a stretch but remember how a few episodes ago the writers and producers took extra care to show us the reporter changing into her white sneakers when she heard jae yi was hospitalized? i thought it was just a tiny detail that’s kinda humorous like she wears heels to work but has sneakers for on the go but maybe there’s more to it. the sneakers were white after all. and you’re right about the physical appearance suiting her more. i think the reporter is the mastermind behind it and only means to scare jae yi while having the older brother do the actual dirty work.

right?! it’s clear that they’re trying to villainize the brother. i mean he certainly isn’t a good guy but it’s kinda like what happened in “judge vs. judge” if you watched that like they have someone who has a dangerous past that makes you think it’s them but it ends up being someone else completely. the brother clearly doesn’t have his head in the right place, but i think he could’ve easily been manipulated by someone. like when he got out one thing i wondered was how he had money for a place to live but idk maybe that’s something else or someone helping him
I agree! I still see good in the older brother. He definitely resents na moo, but the love he has for his mother and especially his sister is undeniable.
I’m still sticking to my theory that it’s not his brother. He shows signs of feeling abandoned, unloved, hurt, and not worthy. Sociopaths are incapable of these emotions. It’s not his brother and I actually think we will see him protect the people he loves. If I’m wrong I will eat my words but I’m still leaning towards her psycho brother as the perp.
My computer froze when the trashy reporter received the picture of the hammer and said “The title…” I’m thinking she had better not say, “It’s Hammer Time.”
