From what I read I think he disappears on ep 12? Not that I condone their behavior, but with veteran Korean actors having so much power back in the day, it’s going to be hard to find those few who didn’t abuse their authority. Absolutely! Many of the “Me too”‘s who reported just in the last few weeks were men. We didn’t see those bid headlines did we? Several others were demeaning comments that were made in the 90’s. All of it has just been hard to stomach from both perspectives. At least sexual harassment as a “whole” has been declining in general. Just wonder if these actors/people weren’t headline worthy whether those “me too”‘s would still be speaking out?
exactly and the metoo thing is about sexual assault or rape pushing it to verbal is ridiculous in my opinion. What we don’t have a voice? You can’t say Hey you fuck off, or hey asshole you can’t say shit like that or who do you think you are? It’s such a shame. He’s playing a leading role and him being cut off is definitely going to affect the drama, and most likely negatively. Not to say I condone what he did. I really feel sorry to the victims of sexual harassment and the fellow people involved in the making of this drama, from the writers, producers, actors/actresses and the entire crew. He really messed up a lot of people.
I do not condone sexual harassment by any means, but he was not the one to mess up this drama, the decision was on the director etc. They are the ones who ruined it by taking him out. It is ridiculous. The allegations were from a long time ago, not from the women or men on this show, it had no bearing on this drama. They did they same damn thing to James Franco, they shunned him at the Oscars but condoned Gary Oldman years back and gave him an award after he beat his wife or ex I forget with a telephone. And that was ok for them smh Beatings are ok, rape is ok but harassment isn’t oy I will never understand the male brain or female brain for that matter if it was a female vote
Well the preview settles the questions of how they get rid of him. It’s a shame because this is a good drama and it was just picking up speed again. Let’s hope it doesn’t drastically change the potential of this drama as bad as it has “Return”. That drama is in total chaos. Fingers crossed the remaining actors (who are experienced and talented) pull the weight of losing one of the leads.
With Return i find the speed juiced up since the change, and we didn’t and wouldn’t even know if it’s becuz of her or not lol At least now I am not falling asleep while watching it LOL
True, but it does seems like the dynamics of the drama did a 180. From what I read over 800 viewers signed a petition to get the original actress back, wth? It sure would have been better had they done it 3 or 4 ep earlier because I think the transition was already written it just happened to coincide with the departure? I don’t have a problem with the new actress, just hate it happened especially so far into the drama. When Heath Ledger died, everyone was worried how it would affect is last movie, but somehow you don’t even know it happened because the transition was so smooth. I think the director/producer dropped the ball and we ended up with no transition?
She physically assaulted the director in plain sight with witness’ A petition? Are people that desperate? That’s condoning assault!! It’s ok for a woman to abuse a man but ot vice versa? Da fuck society do they live in?
I am watching Grand Prince ep 1 so far so good I finished AKO with 75% subs last night LOL I was on a roll with ep 17-20 back to back I needed to keep going LOL
I did the same at 73%, but will be watching it again to at least feel like I finished it. So many said it was a horrible ending, but it didn’t feel that way to me, hence why I really need to see it with subs completed. I don’t mind open ended dramas, as long as it gives some type of closure? If that makes sense. lol
