  13. APRIL JORVEN says:

Ep 5 and he still hasn’t taken a bath or a shower..and he’s filthy from everything so I wonder about that.

    • DizzyVixxLeo says:

He is the Joseon period, people hardly bathe then, bathing was a luxury for those times. we can’t imagine going without a bath or shower for days but they did. that is why so much sickness was around smh, the dude took a dump on the floor without cleaning his hands,or if he did I don’t remember seeing it, do you expect him to be worrying about a bath, that only works with some dude they call Ha Baek, The water God…. a show that focused on how many baths for the day he took.

      • APRIL JORVEN says:

well, he’s in 2017 and nobody seems bothered or even suggested that he should take a bath or let’s just presume that he did in ep 6 already since he’s got new clothes and a shave, too. ;-)

  14. DizzyVixxLeo says:

Preview: they are gonna cut his hair again….dammit! yes I happen to like him with his long hair, cus I love guys with hair and he so darn cute with it. So she stopped him from performing acupuncture in an oriental hospital…WAEYO?!!! cus he might get arrested for performing without a doctor’s license or cus she didn’t want the director to see his skills and then be impressed and hire him, which is it? can’t wait for next episode when he will transform into Yummy modern hot man but gosh darn it the hair will disappear! tall hot men with long hair are extremely hot, why they have to do that to me and gonna cut his darn hair…sigh.

  15. Chatelaineces says:

They are finding it difficult to get him into mainstream medical practice in the year 2017. He simply does not have the papers to see live patients. Thus far, his opportunities are with patients “randomly collapsing” around him. It will be interesting how they will give him credentials to be a doctor in today’s world. It will be interesting to see the opinion of this drama on the ethical issue of medical service rendered and profits. I have family who are doctors. For those of us who have paid ridiculous amounts for tuition, books, laboratory fees and 10 years of education, it is foolhardy to imagine a doctor to perform his services abiding purely on the Hipocratic oath. To gain the right training and experience, a doctor reaches his late 30’s without having recovered the costs that got him there. Think also that a doctor’s hands are good only after a certain age. 65? That is like a 25-year window only. Where is the line drawn between getting a fair return for one’s medical practice versus greed and avarice?

    • Athena Gliddon says:

True in situations where the student must bear the cost (time AND money) of education. In some countries the state funds the education and helps support the student while learning which creates an entirely different situation.

      • Chatelaineces says:

That is a generous country with a very strong desire to fund the education of its doctors. Then, it can demand the terms and conditions of their work after medical schooling. Come to think of it, government funding guarantees medical services in areas of the country with few or no doctors.

  16. the scene in the toilet ahahahaha i cant stop laughing

  17. Athena Gliddon says:

I have never seen this lead actor before, but he grows on you. He has a very engaging smile.
