Till this EP was confused b/w Nam Gil n Ban Do but now m sure where my heart belongs. Nam Gil is a handsome straight forward man with charming smile n Ban Do has personality which u seek in a men n he doesn’t pretend that he is there with you. I like both of them individually but I ship hard for JinDo couple 😍😍😍
Yes , i also had some serious second lead crush, and i still do , but she belongs with ban do , i mean the way he took care of her when she was sick is so heartwarming, plus they really made us misunderstand him at the beginning of the show showing only her side of the story, if only those cheesy scenes like when she fell in library, weren’t in this drama , it would’ve been a great drama, but i still love it
He is such a wonderful husband, just like my husband was. But also like Ban Do, my husband was always at the wrong place at the wrong time. Fortunately, i did realize what a good father he was before he passed, so hoping she will wake up too! Please start communicating, it’s really not that hard! hahaha
for me i was in the ban do team from the first ep , i didn’t like nam gil character because he remind me of the usual first lead in every kdrama ( Rich and handsome) and i got bored from it
I also was with the first lead , but i thought that he got caught up in his work that he forgot his love for her , and in this episode they cleared the misunderstandings we had with him , and you’re right the second lead character is very predictable coz we’ve seen it over and over , but i can not deny his fine looks , lol
I seriously love the mother of jin joo. She is perfect for the role… This episode is all for the ban do and jin joo shippers… Though my heart aches for nam gil ….. Can’t help it. BTW who ships chun sul and dok jae??
I love this series so much. I hesitated so much whether to start this or not. But I’m glad that I did. I recommend this to everyone who are struggling to choose this or not. This drama hits right in the feels. Excellent cast and the character portrayal………
WHY IS THIS DRAMA SO SAD…WHYYYYYY T______T Choi Ban Do you’ve worked hard so far. I’m sure Jin Joo knows how good your heart really is and how sincere you really are. Choi Ban Do’s character is actually deeper than what everyone sees. There’s so many layers of him that makes you love the guy and wanna protect him. He’s a great guy. He deserves a 2nd chance with his wife.

I know this isn’t time for this and I shouldn’t be saying this and should be respecting the drama which I already do, but….. when are they going to kiss? Rn, I think I sound like someone who watches dramas for kiss scenes and believe me I don’t, but isn’t it realistic? like they dated in the past and then got married too, wouldn’t they have kissed atleast once?
Anyway, PEOPLE!!! this is an amazing drama that deserves all the awards that can be given to a drama. I shouldn’t be mentioning and comparing dramas here but I find this drama much more interesting than While You Were Sleeping. This drama actually makes me desperate for next episode.
I don’t know if I’m the only one who didn’t get second lead syndrome. I Love Choi Ban Do from the core of my heart. He is such a caring husband and a caring person in general. I would be really lucky to be just friends with such a person.

i totally get it if people have been together before that chemistry doesn’t go away, as for nam gil yeah i liked him at first but now he’s just annoying me a little bit….the dude made the trip awkward but he still hung around talk about being clueless
seriously i can’t describe how much i love this drama it is just so perfect. I almost cried in every episode, the cast are doing a great job jang nara is one of my favorite actresses. even thought i find nam gil so adorable it so clear that jin joo and ban do are still in love with each other
finally choi ban do is communicating with jin joo openly about his feelings but word advice ban do invent Facebook or google before they do that way you wont ever have to kiss doctors asses anymore!!
My ship of Ban Do and Ma Jin Joo is sailing so hard. Although Ma Jin Joo knows that Nam Gil loves her, the first person she calls when she is in need is Ban Do. I think that since the misunderstandings that led to their divorce has been cleared. They will realize that they cherish each other and their relationship. I’m sure that by now they have realized that they love each other. I can’t wait for a kiss scene. This drama is indeed a tear-jerker. Every character is portrayed so well.
If this isn’t a wake up call to anyone willing to hear it, I don’t know what else it would take to “Stop taking life for granted”!! All of the messages I hear loud and clear, just wished I heard them when i could’ve done something about it. :(
Btw, kinda ticked me off that she blamed him for not seeing her mom alive one more time. How bout a cab? Seriously, what a terrible guilt trip. Before my mom passed i didn’t leave her side for days. My husband watched our children but when he couldn’t they were with me and grandma! No one deserves to be blamed with that kind of guilt when she knew how much he loved her.
I used to think that it’s because he didn’t pick her up too but this episode showed that she had to go bail him out instead of going to her mother that’s why she couldn’t see her one last time. But I really feel bad for ban do imagine living with that guilt when he just wanted to do a decent thing..
Got it, that helps explain, but still… just not something I would want to live with knowing I made someone else carry that kind of guilt. Besides, she could have left him there for a few hours and still at least saw her mom. Again, that was a decision she made. Unfortunately, we all make our own beds and then end up lying in them, right?
Honestly, I think it is irrational too but grieving people don’t think straight. Not everyone can handle loss, I think she just needed to vent out and he was an easy target. The biggest problem with this couple is the lack of communication I hope they start talking things through
Amen! I know based on most Kdramas that communication isn’t something that is tolerated, nonetheless expected. But even in our “open minded” country that encourages communication marriage and being honest is still difficult enough. Seems they are fighting an uphill battle. (And I thought I struggled in my younger days, couldn’t imagine trying to make a relationship work w/o talking honestly?)
I think its part of the process of grief. She had a hard time accpeting her mom’s death (as shown when she told her dad she still imagines her mom being there in an earlier episode) so she brings the blame on her closest loved one. As ban do said in the beginning, we start to take our significant others for granted. I think it’s harsh and mean her blaming him but completely understandable. For her to persist and saying “youre never there when i needed you” now THATS harsh. Poor man. I remember thinking ban do kept knocking down her self esteem but geez did she do a number on him as well.
Sadly, it seems what we do when we don’t see any outlet. At least they have the opportunity to learn from their mistakes and correct them, those of us that don’rt get to travel in time just live with the guilt.
OMG the last five min had me BALLING. Finally, while they were both in the wrong for never clearing their misunderstandings during the marriage, ma jin joo never considered her husband’s pain or loss when her mom died. Now she need to have a talk with her dad too. Yaaaassssss finally people who have shipped her with nam gil will clearrrrrlllyyy see how ban do is the best. Ok so is next week the last week? Cuz my heart will break this show is such s breath of fresh air
All my current fav dramas started in the same week and will end in the same week , and we only have 3 weeks now to enjoy the rest of this drama , and because it’s my first life , witche’s court, black, but I’m also looking forward to next month dramas , like 2 cops , it looks very promising
