I had the exaaaact same discussion with my friend. A guy can confess and tell you he likes you, but that doesnt mean he respects you. Fungus guy does not know how to communicate. While both fungus guy and the lead think theyre better than each other for jia, they fail to see that both of them honestly cant really communicatd correctly in public.
lol i kind of find Kim Min Kyu’s character cheesy. The low voice, the intense stare, plus the dialogue about that dish protecting her…. i cringed a bit
This whole drama is cringey and cheesy…it’s the cuteness of the lead actors that’s carrying it…the writing is could use some tweaking…that acknowledged and said…KMK’s low voice and intense stare are sexy. He’s got a dominant bad boy flair that’s gonna be the focus later as they finally develop the story line.
Honestly, it’s borderline D/s..which they elude to with her calling him Master -name Dominant’s are referred to and by- and saying he needs and wants to protect her and the subservient attitude they initially started with the robot Aji 3…but the human Aji3 is perfect as a sub because she’s cheeky and also subservient and helpless while looking to those dominant or leadership traits to help and guide her…classic definition of a D/s situation.
It’s likely that the D/s is intentional, because if you recall her role in the Strongest Deliveryman, she was the Dominant role…they flashed to her acting that way many times and the male lead was her sub.
i don’t care about the cringe factor i will cringe to kingdom come if i have to the crime dramas where too much for me so i will cringe damn-it if it means not spending 30 episodes solving one obvious crime!!!
I feel you this drama is my no.1 ongoing drama among all those ongoing crime dramas ( I love thriller dramas but too many of them lately😐)

I can’t get over how many plot holes this drama has.
First, in the footage from the scene where he said “If she was a robot like you, I could’ve kissed her” the researchers shouldn’t have been able to see his whole face because (unless I’ve missed something) the lenses she wears is what does the recording.
Second, when Fungus guy leaves her at her house and she goes to the sauna, how is that that she managed to change without help? Yes, she could’ve just had it on but she looked too comfortable for that or she could’ve asked someone for help but she would’ve had to explain why she was wearing a weird and weirdly experience corset in the first place which would have gotten her some attention which wasn’t the case.
Finally, how is it that when Ji A left with Fungus guy, leaving Kim Min Kyu alone without medicine, Min Kyu didn’t get the rash again and collapse or something? Because only five minutes ago, just being 10 feet away from her, he started to get the rash again.
About the illness itself, it’s a psychosomatic illness. He gets the rash because he doesn’t trust people and in his perspective people are like poison. So, it does make sense that once he has someone in his life whom he trusts, he starts to get better.
So, I think that once he finds out that the person he believes to be Aji 3 is actually a human, Ji A, one of two things can happen.
He could either think that another human fooled him and his trust issues worsen, or he’s relieved that she’s a human because he can now dream of a future with someone who’s not a robot.

I agree! All dramas have their faults and strengths but if we hold on too tight to one or the other, we won’t be entirely satisfied which takes away from enjoying the drama. I think this is a fun, light, and heartwarming drama about how a girl teaches a boy to love and trust again after being hurt. It’s fun to watch and if you aren’t looking for faults, it’s really enjoyable and cute, haha.

haha i agree with everything you said. and that doctor is such a quack. i think any medical doctor would have been able to give him a proper referral to a psychiatrist or psychologist. The characters are also a bit over the top, but it isn’t the actors’ who are at fault, it seems to be an intentional thing.
I also wondered about how they’d make him react once he figured out that she isn’t a robot… I think the natural reaction would be for his illness to worsen because of being fooled… but then again, he’ll probably deduce once and for all that his illness is psychological and so maybe he’ll also seek the proper treatment after that… so maybe the shock and the treatment will cancel each other out in the end, he gets worse then gets better.
Ahhhhh i love how each episode has a remarkable phrase that sticks with the vviewers. It legit mae my heart jump they feel like one of those powerful one liners. On the other note I realy wanna know the story behind the professor and the Jia >O<
