At first the lead actress looked different than when she was in the Strongest Deliveryman but with the wig she looks the same here. According to Asianwiki she hasn’t been acting long but she has done a few lead roles. This new drama looks promising. I am hoping her chemistry on scene is better with the other lead actor than when she was in Strongest Deliveryman. It’s a shame too because Ko Gyung-Pyo was really great in Chicago Typewriter.
Those scientists/engineers are so dim witted… Wreck a 50 million payout with one stupid toss. Hard to even believe they’d be capable of building anything.

Finally! Chae Soo Bin gets a role and a leading man suitable for her. We get an inkling that directors have their eye on her as a dependable talent because she has been cast consecutively: first, in The Thief Who Stole the People, next in The Strongest Delivery Man and now in I Am Not A Robot. In the first two dramas she shares the lead role with two over six-footers, Yoon Gyun Sang and Go Kyung Po. Why? I can’t imagine. At least in The Thief a shorter woman was a practical choice for a scene where she needed to be put on a very tall cross. And her chemistry with Yoon Gyun Sang was fairly good. I didn’t get to watch The Strongest Delivery Man but Go Kyung Po is not only very tall but built on the bulky side. Visually incompatible in my mind. But this last match-up with Yoo Seung Ho is just perfect. They are proximate in age, height difference not too significant and face-compatible. The story is relatively fresh and the lines are comedic. It is a relief from the plethora of dark and melo dramas. It took me a while to view this. So many episodes have been shown and I just completed ep 2. I think this drama is worth the marathon viewing in order to catch-up with the rest.

If you haven’t watched Rebel Thief of the People yet, you should. She did a great job in that drama. The male lead is also really great.
