Just to clarify a little, the first known CCTV cameras were used in 1943 in Nazi Germany. The earliest North America started using CCTV was the 70’s so who is to say that Asia did not have the means for CCTV in 1988??? Forensics teams and analysts became a slow and steady process after the Hwaseong Murders in 1986. Everything and anything is and was possible

thanks for the addition. it’s just that in korea the usage of any kind of surveillance camera system was only established in the early 80s and only used for the surveillance in public institutions, financial institutions and military units. especially because you’d have to have an extensive vcr library to store all those information and regularly change tapes. so it’s safe to make the assumption that you can’t use any cttv as there’s none (but maybe he just asked that out of habit).
as for forensics it’s true that there was progress but 1987/1988 marks the time a dna test was used for the first time in history in a criminal case (not in SK) and as a professional in the field who could’ve known that.

Agreed, Miami Vice style Jackets were it in the mid to late 80’s. Leather like this one was 1970’s all the way. Only thing missing is the wide metal framed sunglasses. Elvis style.

The sound is up. Do you even know how hard it is for an Asian person to speak English in that short amount of time? English is one of the most hardest languages for an Asian person to learn. We have Prepostions and Korean has Postpostions, to relearn how to speak and use letters that don’t exist is beyond hard. I have to give him props for learning English that quick and that well.
