  4. Daniel Olanrewaju says:

i have nothing agaisnt the male lead, he just doesn’t stike me as a male lead. He’s played a supporting role so long, i can’t get behind his lead role here.

    • Shannon Vonk Sutorius says:

I am feeling the same thing he a bit too goofy in my opinion. Hopefully he will surprise us both. I did totally appreciated his dance moves🤣😂

  5. DyingtobeinKorea says:

YAY it’s finally it’s subbed !! I really hate watching stuff on flix :)

  6. Ronald Harrington says:

Oh my goodness, if you are a total loser at life, become a Korean Police Officer……sounds about right…

  7. paradox.of.fate says:

Wondered why the opening scene was them eating outside in the snow/freezing? Asked myself why the hell can’t they eat in the bus? lol Now I understand, no different than the military demoralization process only to be built up based on what they demand. Tough life.

  8. sara says:

I am really impressed by the first episode. It is showing the real hardships in life and the reality of the unfariness of this world. I was really aggravated at the part when the women had interviews, the questions asked were misogynistic and the “male friends” at the restaurant were also very evil. It is such a shame that the treatment and the approach of women, shown in this episode, are partly true in today’s society.

    • ineverwantedto says:

What makes you think that they’re only partly true? All what’s only been put in the first half of episode one is happening right now somewhere. They’re spot on with their depiction.

      • DyingtobeinKorea says:

Their misogynistic behaviors happen everywhere on the planet, including the US and Canada. Not sure why she said partly smh

      • sara says:

I wrote partly becuase there are also men who want equality for the women, who respect and support their female friends. Not all interviews are hold like that, in this episode it was not shown one single man who actually reacted to the unfairness, but I claim the opposite exsits. Surely as you wrote similar things are happening right now but that doesn’t mean that’s the whole truth. I have seen men that are on women’s side. Don’t forget that there is male supporters of feminism too.

        • sara says:

I also hope they won’t forget the subject of unfariness for the women. I hope to see more about this subject that will help rise awareness

        • ineverwantedto says:

First things first. Of course, there are men out there who are all about job and payout equality, and therefore deserve the name feminist, or supporters of feminism, if that’s the wording you prefer. It’s not a females only club, but I never claimed that. So, I’m not sure why you felt the need to send off your answer with a reminder as your last sentence.

Next. I just can’t agree with you on your choice of words. In the end, “partly” suggests that the discrimination depicted in this episode is not the norm. It’s however the exact opposite even in this day and age. It’s only partly getting better.
Your common case is still the discriminated women on the job, or during job search. More so in East Asia, where this drama is settled in the end. Therefore I don’t see why they would need to put some kind of disclaimer character into the sequels in question. The Drama only kicked off, and I believe that there will be enough chances for the balanced male feminist moment, that you missed in the first episode.

I don’t know if you watched the 2nd episode already, but I find their way of showing how twisted gender equality looks in male dominated jobs like the police forces intriguing and delicate. They show nicely how gender equality often can mean the women has to live up to males standards, as in there’s no adjustments happening within mixed forces, but they also depict scenarios were women often still would prefer privilege because of their gender.

          • sara says:

Actually I didn’t write the word “partly” in the beginning, but after I had thought about I added the word. I truly understand the scenes in this episode where the women went through unfairness and (in this episode) they showed the unfairness where no male stood up for the females and yes that’s true in real life, but what I meant with the word “partly” was that there is other cases where males as well protests against the unfairness and to not add the word “partly” would be unfair to those males. But on the other hand I think it was right of the writers to portray the women’s situation like that, because that way it will drag attention.
I agree with you that this episode gives a fair picture of situations in some cultures, but it is not the whole picture.

  9. niagirl says:

Does anyone know which episode Jo In sung is to appear?

  10. DyingtobeinKorea says:

So far my first impression is, super slow but good, sort of. 2nd I hate these types of dramas where poor people look down on other poor people, eg: the woman who was at the hospital for her ankle and her friend, her son showed up in a car, works as a civil servant (big whoop) and left her there to take a bus home injured. Like seriously lady? You couldn’t get your idiot son to drive them home?? wow just wow smfh

    • amanda says:

and how she said water vendor like she was a madam………..you clean toilets together and your son being a civil servant couldn’t put an end to that………….and that guy who got the job i was thinking he totally deserved that beat down do bong soon gave him, the arrogance, why i never

  11. amanda says:

omg the one with the really short hair who came with earphones to the roof is the onw who played ugly heiress with crooked teeth in go back couple

  12. Dramatic says:

Why does make want to change my life.

  13. LoveKang Daniel😘❤️ says:

The first episode is okay but you know how they released 2 episodes I wouldn’t want to watch the second episode right after the first one

    • DyingtobeinKorea says:

You got that right! I watched ep 1 then ate and watched Misty and now am watching ep 2 with regrets argh

  14. ineverwantedto says:

You took the time to write a very long text here, and I’m sorry for not explicitly replying to each point you made.
Basically, your views on her actions and mind set seem very narrow minded imo. And I think you missed a few important cues that open up a clear view on why things in this particular story are, how they are.

    • JustMyOpinion2990 says:

I don’t agree on some things that was potrayed.

She could have moved on,sure her friend got the job despite being not having a good certificates.

Look at Kwangsoo roles.he work part time, knowing his jobs won’t get him a full time.

But with him being early, doing all sort of hard labor, people will realised his qualities & he will probably get a payrise.

  15. Kim Kimmy says:

Yaayyy I expect too much 😞🤐😶

  16. 脳_advisor says:

I really like the dialogue and premise of this drama
“Live” can be a really bittersweet statement.

I always wonder when will women and men be treated FAIR. Not in the sense of equality because we are NOT equal. Our differences made our species rich. Our differences should be celebrated and not shamed.

  17. Yan says:

yes finally a website with english SUBS yay!!

  18. Bobknow65 says:

Something different from the norm, first episode 👍👍 up. I can’t relate to the harshness of the training of the officers, been there.

  19. Yoshi Hime says:

Why are the players not working?

  20. Joon says:
