Opened well, ended happy but in between I struggled to stay tuned to this drama. Unlike really well made dramas like My Golden Life and Call Me a Mother, this drama lacked the consistency to be compelling from episode to episode. You could actually scrub watch parts of the episodes and still get a good handle on the story. Tae Yang and Ru Ri were a good match and their romantic moments spiced somewhat this drama. All sorts of separations like divorce, child abandonement, graduation from marriage and even imprisonment were tossed into the storyline brew. In this I thought the writer were well intentioned. The final product, however, was not perfection.
