It finally came to me, I ended up reading about it after Reply 1994 with Go Ara. Some of her younger performances she nails the roles, but others like Hwarang…well need I say more. lol
Guess we all have our pet peeves. It’s kinda funny even GA’s fans hated Hwarang, knew it hurt her more than anything. I’m hoping she shines in this one. Got a lot of potential…
Watching it right now, and as I mentioned L and his slumpy shoulders and walk he was walking in the hotel lobby and then sat down with the woman to meet the potentials LOL But yes the show seems to have potential. TBH Hwarang was my first Go Ara drama, it wasn’t really her I disliked it was the owl looking girl from Save Me, but all in all that drama was just ok, not great and Go Ara didn’t bother me. My Sassy Girl with the girl from Hwayugi bothered me I could not stand her and her acting I dropped that at ep 6 LOL
lol I kept asking myself if it was her character that I couldn’t stand or the acting, wasn’t sure. Like I said loved her in Reply 1988 and the early 1994, but towards the latter half of 1994 it just didn’t sit well. Still my fingers are crossed on this one. :)
I’ve come to find that OYS (My Sassy Girl, Hwayugi) is not right for just any part. She’s popular, but they keep blowing it by sticking her in the wrong lead parts. I saw both, she was better suited for Medical Top Team or Come back Mister…where she wasn’t the lead, just a thought.
That, plus he’s too young looking to be a Judge (for this roll). An older actor might have worked better, or at least one that didn’t look like they just got out of High School.
All books have other versions besides the original. :) Neat huh? I read Homer and The Odyssey in Portuguese not Greek which was the original version :)

Why would people be angry. she was making a statement on women’s behalf. We as women should not have to be judged by our clothing no latter what type of clothing,. That was her statement. If I cover too much it’s a problem if I don’t cover up enough it’s a problem. Living in a man dominated society WE As Women Should NEVER Have to Put up With People Telling Us How To Dress. That is what she was saying. No one should be angry. If they were/are well something is wrong with them

I think this drama really shows the life of judges where they fight for the rights of others and how hard they work as individuals giving justice to other people.
And as you can see, park cha oh reum (played by go ara) is the type of judge who seeks the truth and not following the laws and perspective by other judges. Thats why this drama is called Miss Hammurabi, from the title itself, hammurabi came from an ancient fact history before. If you know the Hammurabi Code (you can search it on google) its a law on babylon before that states “an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth” which means fairness.. If you done something unrighteous to others, you shall receive the same pain/punishment from what you’ve done.
From just watching episode 1, park cha oh reum (go ara) showed how people should be treated fairly whether if its a man or a woman. While Im bareun (played by kim myungsoo) follows what a judge should do by the rules and laws.
Personally, I think this drama is good because this is what our society looks like nowadays. The treatment between a man and a woman. No matter the age is, we should know how to treat individuals fairly ☺☺☺☺
i miss L so here i am…its funny when she wore an abaya i literally laugh out loud i didnt see it coming i thought she gonna wear skimpier.all in all quiet interesting at some point felt bad for the lawyers who abide the rules and the corrupt society try to manipulate and eat them.

As you know people seem to think that she is oppressed. For God’s sake, women who cover themselves up do it with their own choice. I cover myself up too. My family never once asked me wear the hijab. And those men who tell women to cover up themselves cannot keep their eyes off of them. Men need to cover their eyes up. 😑😑😑 such hypocrites.
