I’m assuming the loan sharks dad was abusive and dangerous. I can’t see her becoming violent to the point of killing him unless it was completely necessary. Her character is pretty pure, honest, and gentle even while being pounded on by the son and harassed by coworkers.
He is so dark and sick, it is sad!!
I would so love for his character to evolve into a repented and humble character. Someone honest with his grief and pain but dealing with it in a way that doesn’t hurt other people.
The dramatist should take this opportunity to show that people can change for the better. I would love to see him rise above his self destructing cycle and offer forgiveness to the female lead (sorry can’t think of her name)
I don’t feel bad for him. His father was hitting people and being abusive toward Jin Ah, and her grandmother so I honestly can understand why she stabbed and killed him. Then his son is just going around doing the same thing? Screw him.

I love how they keep gravitating towards the family picture. It has to symbolize something. Something like security or an internal pillar as Dong Hoon states it.
Have you thought maybe it isn’t his kid? I guess at this point it wouldn’t matter because of course he’s become his kid but I can’t figure out what the gravitation is symbolizing.

All this time for whatever reason I assumed the kid had passed away. I think it’s so odd that a child that age lives away from his parents. He’s still a baby!! I wonder if this is common and true to the culture and if so how can this be acceptable?
I could listen to Ji An and Dong hoon’s conversations for hours and not be bored. So it is official that the loan shark guy likes her but doesn’t want her to be happy cause he is not.
I also like the fact that Ji An’s character has at least one loyal friend.
Still excited about next week there will be a lot of improvenment.

I was also glued to the convo of them. I wondered how he talked so much while walking in the cold and uphill with breathing hard. lol Guess it comes from his passion for what he does and what he’s learned?
I’m sure it wasn’t often in her life that anyone gave her the respect to even discuss anything this important? (Hence the running on her application) She probably is just starting to feel human. Hope the whack job of a loan shark doesn’t screw it up.
The “what is your specialty” video was hilarious! Who wouldn’t have a great time with those regulars? Tell ya what, wished I had the exact same down the road I would learn how to drink again. lol ;)
I am liking this show, I am not sure about the age gap if it turns into something more than friends though. A 5 year gap is one thing, a 20 something gap is something else. I am usually very open minded, and I have been enjoying their convos but I am wondering how it will end knowing . how Jian started this whole “relationship” with Donghoon So all in all this show is great, dark, and eerie just the way I like em’ lol
I started watching this drama without expecting any romance…..and I’m still not convinced there will be a proper romance…with or without that the story and characters are already sooo interesting!!You really want to know what happens in all their lives……just so good!!

Wow wow can we just stop for a minute and appreciate IU’s acting here. It’s seriously amazing! So much improvement. I am so proud of my girl. Also, I love this drama. Makes one really curious on how their lives will turn out and how will the story progress next. It makes people really think. I don’t know, I’m hooked to this! It’s so good! So daebak!
I love this episode so much that I am crying. The leads have a cute chemistry though there a huge age gap. You don’t need kisses to feel the chemistry. Dude this is amazing.
I think they started to like each other now….I can’t wait for next week episode….
