My love for PD Lee grows. He’s insane, but also a genius, a bit dark, but also a dork. He has very contradicting personality traits and I’m here for it. He definitely already caught on to the fact that Su Ho doesn’t like others touching Geu Rim
Hi!!! It’s nice to see familiar people lol. And I started that too. I had intended to take a break from dramas for a while but I enjoyed the first ep of Waikiki a lot and this one is ok so far too. I do miss JBL but I’m enjoying the lighter tone of these shows

Man, I hate the lead dude. lol. He’s incredibly jealous but for what? Because she was his first love? Then he goes behind her back and gets new writers because he doesn’t believe in her ability. Like I know it’s dramaland but dude has little to no redeeming qualities other then he’s all goo-goo eyed over the lead actress.
and who said she was any good ? I am rather confused why Dj need scripts unless its the news or an interview . it would mean Radio Hosts never speak the truth or from their heart only something what someone else told them to say . In my eyes she is supporting fakeness and is proud of it
In Korea it is really common for radio presenters to have scripts for their live shows. If you look at any and all the live recordings that celebs do typically they have a script that they follow. Their radio shows are a lot less “just say what is on your mind,” and more “Tonight’s topic is themed ____ and we will be listening to the following songs that represent that theme.” That’s why it is such a big deal, because he didn’t even give her a chance, and it isn’t fake if she’s writing it, and that’s how she feels. Usually Radio presenters/the show itself want to present a sort of comforting feeling when you listen to the radio. It isn’t like what you would hear in the states. The closest thing to that I guess would be podcasts or private radio.
I think the main lead actress needs more of a backbone, and obviously we can’t gauge her talents yet. But the DJ believes she can do it, and to not even let her have that chance is just shitty.
I suggest Jonghyun on Blue Night to give you a reference of what radio shows with celebs are like. Or the one that Guk Joo is on.
well when a show has a topic then they should do some research and present it nicely . But you are mad for no reason . it would be over if the couple felt in love in the first 4 episodes there need to be some rocks to be pushed away on the path and he wanted it to be his style he hired this ppl from the beginning to do research and write something for him so its no surprise . he will change his mind in the future but even her boss said her script is not right . you only have sympathy with her because you like her but she could work on improving it . Or the listeners should get used to her new style of writing since her idea is different than what is normally broadcasted she wants it to be more visual because her mom is blind so she wants is more romanticised with cute pictures
In most of your comments in various kdramas, I noticed you are always against the main actresses and you barely make any complaint about the main lead actor. I don’t understand why you are doing this or why you believe the main actors are always better than the main actresses. That is really unfair of you
First of all , this are my personal feelings you can agree or disagree with them but you can’t say that what I feel is wrong. it may be different from what you feel but I have a right to feel what I feel.
Of course I can accept that somebody has a different opinion and I am only voicing my view . It isn’t automaticlly right or wrong .
It is true that I am longing for a role model and I can’t find one.
Most characters are either tooooo sweet or to bitchy. I want a kind confident role model. America doesn’t have them as well Reese Witherspoon is tooooooo sweet, Angelina Jolie toooo cold . The difference is that guys are more natural in the mixed role. you won’t see them in a total sweet weak postion they will always be a bit more confident more cool and they can’t go to bitchy and ice king because that would make them toooo agressive so a always a notch down . They did found a better balance between sweet and cool . They do have a better presence . it is possible that our society made us this way . Women have to be more submissive and sweet. A mother who hates her kids is like unthinkable its seen as our nature to be loving and carrying and when you want to be a leader you automaticlly become a cut throat bitch like Hillary Clinton was cold names . People are shocked that she can be a loving grandmother because well she has to fight against men and automaticlly has a cold aura .
All I am hoping for is that THIS changes and we get better role models. When you look at Misty you see how we are portrait . She can’t be just a successful woman no she has to be the Ice Queen who will do everything to keep her job . There is no middle way like men can no women have to choose between career or family . No man gets fired because he becomes a father and as soon as women get pregnant they have to give up their career. That is what I am pointing out and what bothers me on many characters because I see that we don’ t have a balance in our characters either to naive and sweet and needs protection or to strong and independent we don’t get characters written which are in between.
maybe I am disappointed in the female characters because they don’t represent me. I either order ppl around and tell them what to do nor do I let other ppl order me around. So when I see a character being rude or weak it bothers me. I do understand why HR in Misty has to be a cut throat Queen in Misty to survive in her industry but I still don’t like ppl being this way or being forced to be this way to survive in this world.
beside the male leads suppose to be jerks in the beginning why would otherwise a perfect man take a average woman , he has to have some kind of flaws so that she has a reason to help him ? That’s why I am not upset with them because thats how it goes and in the end you see that deep down is a nice guy

The guidelines and the script is actually the same. His script is way longer and more detailed than her script i you watch closely. That’s bc she leaves it to him the commentaries but his company won’t let him say anything out of place.
Hell no. Let me stop you right there. I struggled with Radio class in uni so much that I’m an expert by now. You obviously need script. At the start of each show the opening line is supposed to be so well thought that you could have 15 lines and still haven’t find the The One. Also, as it is a prerecorded show, if you don’t have a script it would be a mess. Yo need to know when the song will be playing, when you will start again, what you will say each time, in radio every second matters so a second you waste thinking of what comes next instead of talking is a terrible fucking disaster. OF COURSE, djs also have freedom. They can choose their commentaries and the opening line (but not when is the fucking first show, you can’t mess with the first one.)
i was confused becoz that actress keeps calling him ajhussi and he said he’s been his manager for 10yrs but it doesn’t fit with him he’s too young even to be playing older guy who aged well through exercise, strict diet and overall mental balance it just doesn’t work
right and why would he call his manager when his friend gets injured ? the actor is 2 years older in real life so yeah if they wanted someone who was his manager as a teen he should be a bit older then as well
unless they’re pulling a pil joo/boo cheon situation where they’re same age but the other kid is tasked with looking after the rich kid and cleaning up after him in training to be his actual manager since it was a predestined path for him by fake mom to make him a star like his dad idk it could be a possible explanation to the age thing
Also he called his manager ‘hyung’, maybe they were close when they were young, like an older brother than a employee ‘manager’…. but after that accident maybe their relationship changed.

well didn’t we kind of cultivated this culture ? I just saw a scene where the girl said when you have to ask if you can kiss me then I have to say NO . Sometimes I do feel like the kissing moments are bad timed and kind of forced . The guy shall take Charge if he wants the girl thats what we get taught as kids . the prince always rescues the helpless princess . women shall act difficult and not easy so the guy goes after her and just grabs her and that is called love because she said No but meant yes and just played hard to get that is what we see for centuries
I see ppl all excited about forced kisses all the time where I question my judgement but ppl are happy with this out of the blue forced kisses often after Arguments where she wants to leave and he grabs her and kisses her and that is called love lol compared to that he wasn’t to rude or obsessive in this drama yet
you have a point esp with the hand grabbing in kdramas what is up with that would he have grabbed his hand geu rim was guy when he came to tell her he would do the show no he wouldn’t for once i wanna see a scene where a guy grabs a girl’s hand and she just straight up slaps him before taking the next step and that pd is even worse why is he always putting his hands on her like that it’s so uncomfortable for any woman to be held like that by someone you not close to and worse work for. another thing don’t make girls weak minded if she said she wanted to go drinking alone i feel like that was her choice to make not his
It’s just a drama but I think… Ji Soo-Ho has to pretend that he has a great family, a perfect life… he isn’t attached to anyone, he is a lonely person and it seems like he has trust issues as well… The only thing that makes him step out of the facade he is living in, is Song Geu-Rim. He has feelings for her and he wants her, but for him it comes with a price… he is reminded of the past which still torments him and probably changed him forever…
He is being cold because it’s not easy to socialize all of a sudden with strangers and seeing his ‘probable first love’ being close to another man is the first for him, so that’s why he is over jealous… As the story progresses, he will know how to socialize more, and make more friends and probably be less jealous….
He is hurt by hurting Geu-Rim too but, he tried to push her away after the dream… that’s probably why he didn’t read her script (also maybe his step-mom interferes as well)…. But I guess he will realize soon enough that she isn’t someone whom he can push away….

Im the kinda of person who goes along with the first lead in most of my dramas, BUT NOT THIS TIME !!! OOOH does Ji Soo-Ho frustrate me so much that it kinda ruining the drama for me >_<
Poor guy. That cold demeanor, care-for-nothing facade, he’s been acting too damn hard on himself. He thinks he doesn’t deserve happiness after he caused his friend’s accident. No alcohol, no smiles, no fooling around, that’s the way he’s been punishing himself. As soon as he got close with Geu Rim, he shoved her away thinking he shouldn’t get happy over it. But his true feeling betrayed him when he saw her getting so close with Mr. PD. I guess the next episode will show that he will slowly reveal his true self for fear of losing Geu Rim. I’m rooting for this!
OKAY I LOVE THE CAST and what soo ho did was shit tbh BUT WHENEVER DOOJOON (soo ho) comes on screen I CANT stop fan girling FFS lol he is so perfect. Those who don’t know he is in a group full of talented dorks called highlight ( formerly knows as BEAST)
The PD-nim is definitely going to like her that’s when the battle starts 🙈 I have a feeling that his manager will turn out to be his biological brother or something like that, plus on the day he left his friend I think it was because he was going to see her or something like that that’s why he is crushing her out of guilt.
This show is stupid. I just don’t understand what is going on. I usually like this character playing the male lead…. this show has made me hate him only after 3 episodes. His character is the unattractive kind of an introvert. The Female lead looks like a child… can’t see the attraction. making 2 guys fight over her would be criminal.
Major personal conflicts from traumatic past and micro-controlling false Mother(“I am not your Mother – I can abandon you if you disappoint me…). They have to build up a high, high, high wall – so she in her lowest point will still place her trust/feelings/life in him. That act will give him the strength to heal and to be able to express again and to love and protect her. . She know nothing of his past, doesn’t even recognize him from her past.
so the lead is too guilty.. he and his best friend like GeuRim but that also cause him to make an ill feeling for his best friend and became a Guilt cause he thought his the reason why his best friend died.. both Cellphone and GeuRim reminded him of his dead Best Friend so i can expect a scene where he will cry to ask forgiveness to his late friend
Dude is really just a dick. Which makes me sad because I really like this actor in the Lets Eat series. I just think he does better with happy characters.

I though he was traumatised because he left the phone in the bus and somebody aka his best friend got hurt but it wasn’t his phone . it couldn’t be his manager lying on the floor!!! I mean he says he tried to call him several times still don’t get why he would call his manager when his buddy got run over by a car . And did the PD changed his name ? He did say SuHo was a good drinker that did sound like they stood friends even after the accident . why can’t she remember them ? he was in the same bus he must have been famous because of his parents his non evil mom used him already as a baby boy he must have been in the spotlight and she never met him before , can’t remember being around him ?

In most of your comments in various kdramas, I noticed you are always against the main actresses and you barely make any complaint about the main lead actor. I don’t understand why you are doing this or why you believe the main actors are always better than the main actresses. That is really unfair of you
First of all , this are my personal feelings you can agree or disagree with them but you can’t say that what I feel is wrong. it may be different from what you feel but I have a right to feel what I feel.

Most characters are either tooooo sweet or to bitchy. I want a kind confident role model. America doesn’t have them as well Reese Witherspoon is tooooooo sweet, Angelina Jolie toooo cold . The difference is that guys are more natural in the mixed role. you won’t see them in a total sweet weak postion they will always be a bit more confident more cool and they can’t go to bitchy and ice king because that would make them toooo agressive so a always a notch down . They did found a better balance between sweet and cool . They do have a better presence . it is possible that our society made us this way . Women have to be more submissive and sweet. A mother who hates her kids is like unthinkable its seen as our nature to be loving and carrying and when you want to be a leader you automaticlly become a cut throat bitch like Hillary Clinton was cold names . People are shocked that she can be a loving grandmother because well she has to fight against men and automaticlly has a cold aura .
All I am hoping for is that THIS changes and we get better role models. When you look at Misty you see how we are portrait . She can’t be just a successful woman no she has to be the Ice Queen who will do everything to keep her job . There is no middle way like men can no women have to choose between career or family . No man gets fired because he becomes a father and as soon as women get pregnant they have to give up their career. That is what I am pointing out and what bothers me on many characters because I see that we don’ t have a balance in our characters either to naive and sweet and needs protection or to strong and independent we don’t get characters written which are in between.
maybe I am disappointed in the female characters because they don’t represent me. I either order ppl around and tell them what to do nor do I let other ppl order me around. So when I see a character being rude or weak it bothers me. I do understand why HR in Misty has to be a cut throat Queen in Misty to survive in her industry but I still don’t like ppl being this way or being forced to be this way to survive in this world.
beside the male leads suppose to be jerks in the beginning why would otherwise a perfect man take a average woman , he has to have some kind of flaws so that she has a reason to help him ? That’s why I am not upset with them because thats how it goes and in the end you see that deep down is a nice guy

The guidelines and the script is actually the same. His script is way longer and more detailed than her script i you watch closely. That’s bc she leaves it to him the commentaries but his company won’t let him say anything out of place.
Hell no. Let me stop you right there. I struggled with Radio class in uni so much that I’m an expert by now. You obviously need script. At the start of each show the opening line is supposed to be so well thought that you could have 15 lines and still haven’t find the The One. Also, as it is a prerecorded show, if you don’t have a script it would be a mess. Yo need to know when the song will be playing, when you will start again, what you will say each time, in radio every second matters so a second you waste thinking of what comes next instead of talking is a terrible fucking disaster. OF COURSE, djs also have freedom. They can choose their commentaries and the opening line (but not when is the fucking first show, you can’t mess with the first one.)

i was confused becoz that actress keeps calling him ajhussi and he said he’s been his manager for 10yrs but it doesn’t fit with him he’s too young even to be playing older guy who aged well through exercise, strict diet and overall mental balance it just doesn’t work
right and why would he call his manager when his friend gets injured ? the actor is 2 years older in real life so yeah if they wanted someone who was his manager as a teen he should be a bit older then as well
unless they’re pulling a pil joo/boo cheon situation where they’re same age but the other kid is tasked with looking after the rich kid and cleaning up after him in training to be his actual manager since it was a predestined path for him by fake mom to make him a star like his dad idk it could be a possible explanation to the age thing

well didn’t we kind of cultivated this culture ? I just saw a scene where the girl said when you have to ask if you can kiss me then I have to say NO . Sometimes I do feel like the kissing moments are bad timed and kind of forced . The guy shall take Charge if he wants the girl thats what we get taught as kids . the prince always rescues the helpless princess . women shall act difficult and not easy so the guy goes after her and just grabs her and that is called love because she said No but meant yes and just played hard to get that is what we see for centuries
I see ppl all excited about forced kisses all the time where I question my judgement but ppl are happy with this out of the blue forced kisses often after Arguments where she wants to leave and he grabs her and kisses her and that is called love lol compared to that he wasn’t to rude or obsessive in this drama yet

It’s just a drama but I think… Ji Soo-Ho has to pretend that he has a great family, a perfect life… he isn’t attached to anyone, he is a lonely person and it seems like he has trust issues as well… The only thing that makes him step out of the facade he is living in, is Song Geu-Rim. He has feelings for her and he wants her, but for him it comes with a price… he is reminded of the past which still torments him and probably changed him forever…
He is being cold because it’s not easy to socialize all of a sudden with strangers and seeing his ‘probable first love’ being close to another man is the first for him, so that’s why he is over jealous… As the story progresses, he will know how to socialize more, and make more friends and probably be less jealous….
He is hurt by hurting Geu-Rim too but, he tried to push her away after the dream… that’s probably why he didn’t read her script (also maybe his step-mom interferes as well)…. But I guess he will realize soon enough that she isn’t someone whom he can push away….

Poor guy. That cold demeanor, care-for-nothing facade, he’s been acting too damn hard on himself. He thinks he doesn’t deserve happiness after he caused his friend’s accident. No alcohol, no smiles, no fooling around, that’s the way he’s been punishing himself. As soon as he got close with Geu Rim, he shoved her away thinking he shouldn’t get happy over it. But his true feeling betrayed him when he saw her getting so close with Mr. PD. I guess the next episode will show that he will slowly reveal his true self for fear of losing Geu Rim. I’m rooting for this!

This show is stupid. I just don’t understand what is going on. I usually like this character playing the male lead…. this show has made me hate him only after 3 episodes. His character is the unattractive kind of an introvert. The Female lead looks like a child… can’t see the attraction. making 2 guys fight over her would be criminal.
Major personal conflicts from traumatic past and micro-controlling false Mother(“I am not your Mother – I can abandon you if you disappoint me…). They have to build up a high, high, high wall – so she in her lowest point will still place her trust/feelings/life in him. That act will give him the strength to heal and to be able to express again and to love and protect her. . She know nothing of his past, doesn’t even recognize him from her past.
so the lead is too guilty.. he and his best friend like GeuRim but that also cause him to make an ill feeling for his best friend and became a Guilt cause he thought his the reason why his best friend died.. both Cellphone and GeuRim reminded him of his dead Best Friend so i can expect a scene where he will cry to ask forgiveness to his late friend

OMG wait the guy thought he left his phone !!!!! But it wasn’t his phone the phone was on the street . so who planned the accident or caused it ? Was it her phone ? I though he was traumatised because he left the phone in the bus and somebody aka his best friend got hurt but it wasn’t his phone . it couldn’t be his manager lying on the floor!!! I mean he says he tried to call him several times still don’t get why he would call his manager when his buddy got run over by a car . And did the PD changed his name ? He did say SuHo was a good drinker that did sound like they stood friends even after the accident . why can’t she remember them ? he was in the same bus he must have been famous because of his parents his non evil mom used him already as a baby boy he must have been in the spotlight and she never met him before , can’t remember being around him ?
