She had many arguments with the director for so long, but i guess this time they had a huge fight. Some say she even hit the director and many witnessed the assault. But nothing is confirmed yet.. Only that she decided to leave..

It’s really sad cause it will be difficult to watch the drama without her. I love her as an actress and she has such a strong presence in Return, it won’t be the same without her!

It seems that an actress with over two decades of experience, never before having been reported to have had this kind of problem … is being thrown to the wolves. I’ve seen producers ruin actresses careers – and the only truths to come out are halve truths. AKP and Soompi have issued statements from insiders and the agency of the actress. But know one really knows for sure.
There was a similar situation with Han Ye Seoul and the PD of ”Spy Myung Wol”, with the difference that she left the filming set and didn’t return till they made a settlement..
Producers can only ruin young and newcomer actresses and actors, who don’t have enough fame and connections in the industry..
They can’t do much to those who have also money, fame and connections cause otherwise, the director’s career is at risk too…
But i agree, no one knows what happened behind those doors..
She’s been through worse with her personal life. She’ll be fine! :)
Although from US people with a decent track record can be blacklisted – but hollywood is a little more of an established business where producers are king.
Wow that’s crazy but the show must go on hopefully it’s an actress that can portray the role perfectly. It’s also a bummer because ep 15 and 16 can’t come out tomorrow because of the olympics but it will come out next week maybe as scheduled if they can find a new actress the other shows from different networks might canceled to due to the olympics as well so hopefully we can watch all of our shows we enjoy and hopefully return will have a better vibe and more great ratings. Cool, now we have a suspect and a probable motive. With Dong Bae entering the courthouse, I wonder if it was Kim Jung Soo that paid him to bring Joon Hee to the nursing home.
Now that Go Hyun-jung’s leaving the drama, I wish they’ll upgrade Na-ra to be the lead. I will miss you Choi Ja-hye! See you in your next drama Go Hyun-jung!

Actress Park Jin Hee (oh my geumbi) has decided to accept her casting offer for the SBS drama “Return” after the departure of lead actress Go Hyun Jung.
Following much deliberation, it has been announced that the actress will be taking the role of Choi Ja Hye, which was formerly played by Go Hyun Jung. Park Jin Hee will be starting filming for the drama on February 13.
The actress stated, “I was surprised by the sudden offer from the production team and I worried about it a lot, but I decided to accept the offer due to the team’s earnestness.”
The production team apologized to viewers once again for the recent situation, and promised to try to make up for viewers’ support and love for the show. They also expressed their gratitude to Park Jin Hee for taking on the important role.
Park Jin Hee has appeared in works such as the film “Shadows in the Palace” as well as dramas including “Giant,” “Oh My Geum Bi,” “Kimchi Family,” “Still, Marry Me,” and more. The actress is currently pregnant with her second child.
“Return” will be airing episode 15 and 16 on February 14, starting at 10 p.m. KST. Park Jin Hee will make an appearance in these episodes, before the character of Choi Ja Hye will begin to lead the story in earnest in episode 17 and 18.
