They’re not breadcrumbs, they are envelopes with the answers. He hasn’t figured out anything, if they didn’t purposely leave him evidence he wouldn’t have a clue what was going on.
I guess it’s easy for us to judge since we see every angle that is given, every perspective that is thrown at us but this guy only sees what is what is either found, in front or dropped in front of him. Being a cop isn’t as easy as one may think. Remember this is 1 a drama and 2 we are the viewers so we see what that character doesn’t. I say this with much knowledge into criminology and respect to your opinion
If they took out all of the scene’s of four people getting revenge it wouldn’t change how I view him. Remember the drama started with the man who killed himself because that cop ignored all the evidence that cleared his name. It turned out those 3 psychos are the ones who were responsible for what happened to the woman he ended up in jail for assaulting, and because of the cop those idiots got off free. He was also on the case when the Dr’s sister got raped, and listened to his partner and turned a blind eye allowing them to get off on a technicality. He also took everything at face value and was fine with locking up IW for his mistresses murder. Not only is he lazy, he is dirty. He just not smart of enough to have got paid for his misdeeds. He has helped those 3 evil men get away with two serious crimes. He is not a good at his job. Without those clues he’d be off on another case half a**ing it, ultimately sending some innocent person off to jail again or letting some rich criminal get away with a crime.
LOL if I remm correctly the man that commuted suicide in the beginning died becuz lack of evidence, and that detective wasn’t the only cop on the case. ( not making excuses) 2nd case He was young and tried to pursue it and got shafted for it cuz it wasn’t one of his cases it was the old guy that was killed and left in the freezer. (the rape case) Inho’s case? he has a partner who is supposed to help and didn’t but he threw Inho in jail cuz all the evidence pointed at him. Cops follow evidence. You are entitled to think how you want and I will think how I want. Agree to disagree
Yes he committed suicide because he was branded a sexual assaulter. That cop was not the only cop on the case, but he had the biggest mouth dismissing the man’s claims. The person the man named specifically was that cop for a reason. There wasn’t a lack of evidence, the cops didn’t investigate any other leads. Saying he was young is a lame excuse. He was on the force long enough to get promoted from beat cop to detective. He knew his partner was working with the assailants and he didn’t pursue it. He saw the victim, he knew what those men did to her. But his partner words were more important than the victim getting justice. He’s cool with dirty cops. His current partner got suspended for taking bribes, but he made sure to get him back to work. Even the way he is investigating the number murders he is trying to leave his partner out of it, knowing full well he is involved.
I’m used to drama cops being stupid. But this man is willfully ignorant and only follows evidence that suits his narrative. He even said to JH in the interrogation that he knows he has done wrong. Is he as bad as his former partner or the coroner? No. Because at least he didn’t take money. But if the way he has handled cases is exposed publicly he will lose his job and rightfully so.
I didn’t just write my beliefs. I wrote the events as they happened in this drama. If you can excuse his misdeeds that’s cool. I kept writing because it is something that irks me because people do that in their real life. They barely do their jobs and make grave mistakes. Instead of apologizing and atoning for what they have done they zone in someone they deem “wrong”. It’s annoying when you work in a job like retail, but it’s dangerous when you have a job like police officer. He participated in ruining lives, he knows what he did and he knows he was wrong, but he has yet to at least apologize to anyone. Hopefully at the end of the drama he will.
Geez Louise, I’m not excusing the bastard can you take it easy. It’s a drama for Christs sake, it isn’t real, it it were it would be a totally diff story. The I would def be up in his face. But this is a show, a shitty show with a whole bunch of holes. So many holes that the whole show makes little to no sense, it’s as if the writer changed when the OG actress left.
