I really wanted to like that drama but I couldn’t get myself into it. The plot is not realistic and something is lacking in general. I loved school 2013 and school 2015 because it dealt with the harsh realities of students. School 2017 is trying but I dont buy what they are selling. It doesn’t seem convincing at all.
This drama doesn’t focuses mainly on school but the bit and pieces we saw was better than school 2017 combined.
It’s true , school 2015 somewhat had a better storyline and an appealing plot. It had me excited since ep1.
I prefer school dramas with a bit of dark side to it and that r more realistic.

I did leave in half way. I love both the lead actors it is just the story line I found ridiculous. Kim Sejeong is her first lead and even tho I love her as an idol I found she couldn’t immerse herself in her role at least the little I have watched. That is not to say she is a bad actor because she is not. But I know her variety persona with ajusshi style so I had a hard time getting over it. I saw the lead actor on Jealousy Incarnate and he did fantastic there. My point is the cast was good but the story line felt unrealistic and exaggerated. You have no idea how much I was looking forward to this drama before it aired so if you are saying it picks up later I will try to give it another chance.
