This ep made me cry wishing we had phones with cameras before my Dad passed. Just thinking about a selfie with my father made me smile. The rooftop scene and the toy coming back to life made me laugh, but most of all their love made me envious.
I was thinking the same thing… I have only one selfie with my Dad before he passed…on that day I wish I’d taken more…my others were on a phone I lost/was stolen…it’s so painful. I’m tearing up now…
Wish there’d been phones too for your sake POF…glad that you got some smiles tho!
Aww same boat huh? I was only 17, but I’m thankful to have been old enough to get to know him as a person, not just a father. Sorry for your loss. Believe it or not, I found him on google, (even though he passed before computers lol.) He had a developed a patent that I wasn’t even aware of. He was a metallurgical engineer, also vice president of a Corp so I gave it a shot and found pics I’d never seen before and learned even more about him.
Sorry you felt the same pain, but maybe there will be a surprise (photos, maybe you run into one of his friends ) in your future that will be the same smile that surprised me 30 yrs after his passing. Ya just never know. ;)
(hugs)
