YES, that satisfying end! Am i the only one who is rooting for Oh Jin Kyu? he lives such a pitiful life. He deserved another chance yet none was willing to give him. as much as i love go jin pyo as an actor, i feel his character and leadership/friendship with the 300 or so deliverymen here is very forced. cannot relate to him at all.
i agree with u ;oh jin kyu need a second chance he was always ignored by he is familly and now when he just started loving himself this accident happend and no one is helping him
yesss GS and JK were so close for a while, GS could have listened to JK side of story (how he even committed suicide cuz of tht same incident) when GS insisted he cannot go to prison. i think only dan ah could help him be a better person now.
Agree, I can’t really hate Oh jin kyu while go jin pyo character here is disappointing me. I understand his motivations (Oh jin kyu should pay for what he did) but I couldn’t stand him in this episode. It was like him and his friends wanted to do the police’s job, (even if I know the police wasn’t effective here) and I didn’t appreciate how they acted. For example something bad could have happened on the road while they were trying to stop him, it wasn’t the right way to act for me. But let’s wait and see how it goes in the next episodes!
Yes that’s what i feel too! JK came clean about how he didn’t intend to, and he definitely wasn’t the only guy responsible for it, so there really isn’t a need to broadcast and tell everyone as if he committed murder/hit run accident. It was pure unfortunate event. even the police said they cannot charge JK for GS’s friend coma. He knows what he has done wrong and is willing and earnest about repaying but of cuz with money as it’s the only way he knows how.
now i feel like he’s gonna be on wrong path/bad guy cuz of GS’s action and is abandoned by everyone.
I agree with you guys about Oh Jin Kyu, and it’s also kind of difficult to see those scenes, but it makes sense. In real life, including in court, in front of a judge and guards, when parents or someone else close to the victim see the culprit they lose control, sometimes try to beat the offender. Imagine if they saw them on the streets…and i don’t think it matters to them that the culprit didn’t had intent or wasn’t the only one when the worst has already happened to their loved ones.
I get he has a sad backstory but we can’t forget that there’s a guy in a coma because of it. Its wrong for him to be the only one punished but its isnt wrong for him to be punished (even though it looks like he won’t be anyway)
haha yes of cuz it wasn’t wrong to punish him but didn’t like how all their effort was to make him the baddest guy more than anyone else or even the person which caused the accident at the first place.
I didn’t watch the episode yet but since the first one I wasn’t into it but wanted to give it a try after 4 episodes I’m still not into it . I don’t really like the second lead his acting is kinda weird and pisses me . I’m gonna wait till the drama finishes to give it another try.
There are so many flaws in the story line. First, banking in South Korea can be done through a smartphone app in a matter of seconds. I don’t understand why he had to wait until her hospital discharge to give her the money. He could have instantly transferred the money. But I guess it makes the story line progress when they have to physically go to a bank. Second, there were numerous people at that drag racing event. Why is Oh Jin Kyu the only one being held responsible. Also why would they assume he would spend years in jail because the police can only charge him with blocking the road. And with a good lawyer he could get off with only paying a fine, a suspended license, and probation. I’m not buying the whole injustice angle the writers are trying to spin.
