I just feel the need to clarify the reasons, cause lately the international fans seem to be bashing the Korean for their lack of taste whenever their taste doesn’t match each other.
First off, I’m not a Korean, but here’re some explanations that might help.
1. The rating is determined by the viewership in South Korea (usually split into two: Seoul and nationwide). Overall, the rating of this drama is somewhere around 7-8% which ranked it around 10~11th.
2. You might think the current rating isn’t good, but honestly, it isn’t doing bad. Unlike before, where the well received dramas would get rating over 20% (king of baking, you who came from the star, high kick etc) it’s really hard to get that kind of rating nowadays. I’d say those with rating over 10% are doing a great job.
3. But lets say the viewership is low. The biggest reason for this, as I see it, is probably because ‘Ruler—Master of the Mask’ (rate 10%+ ranked around ~4th) airs at the same date and the same time as this drama.
Oh thanks, cause I was like how can this drama not be great to any living soul; for it to have such ratings. I even started making up conspiracy theories. There are very few movies that I find interesting enough to watch re-runs and this movie is one of the top 5.
Can some one tell me why I cant play the video. The local option was broke and the ‘test’ option basically can’t show the video in a full size and with no subs.
Love this episode. Their chemistry is great, but I am really curious about what really happened the night she was drunk and they fell on the couch together… Does feel like more happened specially when she said that the kiss was nothing new ;)
He is so sexy when he runs…those daddy long legs and long strides just make my heart flutter…phew! Can’t forget the unforgettable kiss scene..hot hot hot!!
the chairman is one the best characters the writers could have come up with…. he is so different from old men in korean dramas. such a fun person, he always has something funny to say.
