Thats why it’s such a big deal. But in all honesty, it’s not unless he testifies as in “light was green”, I know of a policeman here thats color blind. Can’t ever be a detective, but he’s legit!

From a medical standpoint I’m infuriated that brain death is not recognized by criminal law in Korea (or in the show idk). Brain death is not the same thing as a coma!!!! Brain dead is more dead than cardiac death is my perspective tbh. I’m a med student so I’ve studied this a lot. Brain dead is dead and to state otherwise is unethical.
hello fellow med student. I totally agree with you. i mean a beating heart does not decide if the pacient is dead or not. think about a Pacemaker, that let the heart continue to beat even though the pacient is already dead.
not a med student but a fan of grey’s anatomy i think the brain is just as important as the heart one cannot function without the other if you’re brain dead your brain can no longer give signals to your organs to breath and so on hence the machine so yeah brain death is death and the cruelest kind too coz everything is still in good shape but becomes useless without a brain to give them instructions on how to function and if the heart stops it can be revived or transplanted whereas the brain is unreplaceable idk my facts come from grey’s anatomy correct me if i’m wrong lol
