Yes, it is actually a sad drama for me too, esp for the main lady. She is so lonely, her family is not supportive, her dream about love and married is ruined, her job too, but she still has friends and someone that she can(cant) rely on (for a place to sleep). The story is so relatable, lee min ki character also not from a rich family and he is not a perfect super handsome man, so it feels more realistic.
lol it’s frustrating beyond words esp when has been in a relationship for 7yrs and one is a self-proclaimed ladies man!!! but they cute as they swim around in their pool of delusions and ignorance!! won seok cutest baby face ever too cute he looks 18 lol
i love this drama whoop whoop, can’t wait till he declares his love it’s gonna be epic coz it’s so hard for him to grasp showing human emotion………………(he came close to becoming a serial killer i mean one more step and bam!)
Yup!!! I have been waiting for that epic moment since epi 1!! I can’t wait for the moment he realizes that he has fallen for her…. Or just being jealous is also enough!!!
me too i literally keep waiting for that jerk who nearly raped her to come back and say “i love you and um sorry” and se hee comes and his like “there is no intellectual reasoning for your current behavior as the outcome would be disastrous and pointless to both parties involved mainly because she’s my WIFE!!” and he takes her hand and says “honey let’s go home kitty is waiting for us!!”
The “love oppa” scene was so cute! XD He didn’t seem so happy though, I’m sure they’ll show us a reason for that, there must be a link with his “all rational” kind of person. I think…
About her mom, her reasons were all so transparent that Idk how she didn’t get it, specially when she started the episode analyzing the characters. Still… Really enjoying it ^^
the sound effects for the dads are hilarious and on point the roaring lion and the barking dog hahahhahaha they made me laugh so bad i actually wish they had more airtime kkk
Ahhhh my heart fluttered at the last scene. Whether they know it or not they’re slowly falling for each other. I’m happy. The heroine is so realistic, she’s timid in some areas but in others she’s strong: I find it relatable. I love how she told the guy who harassed her off, made my weeks. That last scene of the ep had me so happy tho. I love her mom too, the letter made me cry a little.
Could not stop bawling when the letter from her mom was read. The music while that was happening only intensified the tears. So happy he came to her rescue!
Very good script. I think a lot was borrowed from Ayn Rand’s The Virtue of Selfishness. The idea that need is the firm basis for relationship. I never thought that a romcom would deliver on this concept so well. He needs the rent money and she needs a place to stay that does not require a deposit. He needs the renter to perform specific tasks like feeding the cat and she is that. She needs privacy and protection from personal assault and he locks his door. He has little social skills and is a bit robotic. She has been emotionally battered by her father and abetted by a powerless mother. Both are brilliant academically. And yet they suit each other in an inexplicable manner. Formula for a love story. Definitely.
and from here starts the story of nothing but simple with involvment of complex feelings…
usually mom-daughter relationships are in the love-hatred way as two similar women often clash with each other, girls might be dad’s princesses but still they’re replicas of moms
God i must be a glutton for punishment, after crying last night had to wake up and watch the last 30 min again, it was just so beautiful. But didn’t actually see the wedding in the preview. Is it standard for them to say “You may kiss the bride”? Didn’t know how they were going to handle that. ;)
