This is the one I wait for because I cant wait to watch. Enjoy others, but this exceeds my expectations every time. Love this drama and the actors are excellent! He must be a reincarnation from that time period in his past life, because he looks so natural in those clothes…did I also mention HOT! lol

No previews. They just leave us hanging. I am surprised that this isn’t more popular, but it is running against that Sister is Alive (I think) and for some reason that show is really popular.

Think about how many good dramas end up in that category, sadly. I could name a few, but I think your right that it really has to do with what they are going up against. Too bad, because too many don’t get the attention they deserve.
The romance between a Joseon Oriental Doctor and a 2017 modern day surgeon transcends time and place.This drama’s strength is in its well delivered thoughts on the Doctor’s Oath and gift. Heaven grants the oneness of the universe thru the scalpel or the acupuncturist’s needles to work healing powers and wellness. And the universe takes back these powers when the doctor uses his skills otherwise. “The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.” In particular, the scenes where Heo Im is coerced to perform malpractice by treating the brother-in-law of the assemblyman to incapacitate him for several days to allow for a corporate takeover were spot on.
Kim Nam Gil and Kim Ah Joong give us delightful flirting, skinship and kissing since the time they decided to be lovers. But the comforting scene between Yeon Kyung and Heo Im when he comes back from his trial to commit malpractice was so lovely and delicate. This. Is the benefit of two very seasoned and accomplish actors delivering on their lines. Well worth the number of times we repeated the scenes.
I will miss this drama. Next week brings the last two episodes to round up the 16 episodes. The weekend drama is crowded with dramas like Hospital Ship, Man Who Sets the Table, My Golden Life, Unnie and this (others I don’t watch) so viewers will be scattered. Personally, this drama is a gem and people should come around to watching it.
I love how this drama doesn’t focus solely on the romance and just allowed the love story to flow naturally that makes every scene of them together just a joy to watch.
