Go Hyun Jung is leaving her role in SBS drama ‘Return’.
Earlier, it was reported that Go Hyun Jung refused to continue filming due to conflict with the staff members. Rumors even stated that the actress assaulted the director. SBS made an official statement and confirmed there are issues between the actress and the staff.
On February 7, SBS spoke up once again and announced that Go Hyun Jung is ultimately leaving the drama.
A rep from SBS stated to OSEN, “The conflict between Go Hyun Jung and producers of ‘Return’ have grown and they can no longer work together. As a result, Go Hyun Jung is leaving ‘Return’. We are looking to change the lead actress.”
The Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Return’ has been bringing in a 16% viewer rating, making it the #1 drama in its time slot. The drama will not be airing on the 8th due to special Olympic broadcast. The drama is scheduled to resume on a normal schedule next week, however, filming has reportedly been halted for several days due to the issue.
With Go Hyun-jung leaving the drama, I’m wondering how things will change. Her character and Lee Jin-wook’s character has zero development considering that the 2 are the leads. That’s why she got into the fight with the PD. Even I can feel it, what’s more with her. See you in your next drama, your majesty.
that can’t be the problem. she read the script. It was clear from episode one that the 4 boys get more attention because the focus would be how they try to hide the crime . if she got upset about it than she wouldn’t be professional . it must be the conditions and treatment on set by the crew
I never said her action was wrong. It is time that the conditions are human . One actress was 24 hours on set and had to wait 5 hours until her next shots . I never understood the live recording . sure you can change stuff when the viewers get annoyed but come on every extension fails so even if it is popular they destroy it in the end when they want more for their money. greed is never good. The producers must be in shock now , their money is on the line so the director or writer gets hell for letting this happen. her character wasn’t the main focus in the beginning it got more important later or so it was kind of an improvement . it thought it was all about the 4 guys and didn’t see her in the first episodes
Those that blow you away and don’t let up through the whole series (like the ones you mentioned) will be those all time classics that you can watch 10 times and never get old! Don’t see this one fitting in that category.
Honestly, I love Shin Sung Rok so much. Such a great actor, jinjja!! The only person to eve make a bad guy sexy (to me) when he was casted as the villain in MYLFTS. I never like villains but he was so damn suave and sexy in that drama, I fell for him instantly LOL.
Damn imagine how scary Tak has to be when the only person Kim Hak-Beom fears is Oh Tae-Seok.

This drama have a great cast but let be honest it kinda slow considering it is a crime/thriller drama. Unlike Tunnel and Signal which is so intense.
tunnel and signal were a mind blown.i prefer those two compared to return.
